This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of McCormick & Company for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

My family loves flavorful meals and I love experimenting with spices but I also like quick and easy dishes. Once my kids are home from school I need to spend time talking to them about their day and helping them with homework and once my husband is home I don’t feel like spending a lot of time in the kitchen.

Sitting down together as a family is important to me. It’s the perfect time to discuss the events of the day and enjoy each others company. It’s even better when everyone likes what was prepared. This Taco Casserole is the perfect quick and flavorful meal and everyone can even add their favorite sides or toppings.

McCormick.com identified the top 10 most searched dinner recipe terms of 2012 and matched them with simple and flavorful McCormick recipes. This recipe took about 20 minutes from start to finish. Perfect for a busy  family. These are the only ingredients plus the ground beef.

I love the flavor of the McCormick original taco seasoning. Hubby said it was the best he’s ever tasted. He made me promise to add the Taco Casserole to our usual meal rotation. I have family coming to visit in a few weeks and I’ve been trying to come up with easy but yummy meals for the week. This Taco Casserole was just added to the list.

I think you’re going to want to run to the store and get the ingredients to make this for dinner tonight. It’s a complete meal in it’s self.

McCormick is giving one of my lucky readers a “Homemade in America” McCormick Gift Set. This set looks amazing! I can’t wait to try some of the spices and slow cooker mixes I haven’t tried yet.

How do you enter?

1- Leave a comment letting me know your favorite McCormick spice.

2- For a second chance – Leave a comment letting me know which recipe from McCormick.com you’re interested in trying.

Giveaway ends October 21 at midnight.
Good Luck!

I absolutely LOVE McCormick Ground Cinnamon. I love to use it on so many things especially in the Fall! Apples, pumpkin, bread and so much more!

NaDell October 10, 2013 at 9:20 am

Taco seasoning or brown gravy are always stocked in my cupboard! We use the brown gravy with French dips sometimes.

NaDell October 10, 2013 at 9:24 am

Jammin’ Jerk Chicken sounds like it’d be a good one to try.

Gina October 10, 2013 at 10:18 am

I rely on cumin and garlic powder . Just bought more of both yesterday! The casserole looks good – will have to try that.

Kimber October 10, 2013 at 12:39 pm

I love how quick and easy this was. The less ingredients the better in my book. I am eyeing those slow cooker spices in the box!

I always have McCormick seasonings in my kitchen: I use the Italian Seasoning, Minced Onions, and Garlic Salt, but I also use the envelopes of Taco, Pulled Pork/Pork Roast and gravy (chicken and brown/beef) mixes. I like the flavors and I love the convenience! Thank you for a great new recipe!

Pat F. October 10, 2013 at 9:10 pm

McCormick is a staple in our house! We love the McCormick packets (gravies, taco mix, meatloaf) as well as all their spices (garlic, cinnamon and sugar, lemon-pepper, basil, oregano, poultry seasoning, nutmeg, chives, garlic bread sprinkle etc.) We are fans! I recently bought my first Slow Cooker and am anxious to sample their Slow Cooker spices. Thanks for the opportunity to try out some of their best sellers!

I’m (slightly) embarrassed to admit I’m more of a microwaver than a cook and I’m not a huge spice user. That being said, though, I really like McCormick’s taco mix.

And, after reading the above comments, it’s going to be hard to try to pin done just one spice I want to try. The cinnamon one sounds fabulous but I think I’m going to have to try the garlic herb wine one, too.
