I found a camera card with all the Parade of Homes pictures on it from last year. As I was looking through them I thought I’d post some of my favorite rooms. I decided to start with juvenile bedrooms. I always get such great ideas from the Parade of Homes whether it’s ideas for a whole room, a wall, an accessory, or even a color scheme. I hope you can get some ideas from these pictures as well. Parade of Homes Bedrooms Inspiration:
It’s so important that kids have their own space whether it’s a whole room or even just a corner. While they need to have some input into the what their space looks like they also need a little guidance. These rooms are full of fun designs to give you ideas on how to design your kids spaces. You don’t have to change everything at once, just small changes can make a big difference.
It’s good to start with what they’re interested in whether it’s music, sports, games, or even just their favorite color. Do they need a space to study? A space for their musical instruments? Or a space to just stretch out and relax?
Most kids love a space where they can be creative.
And let their imagination run wild.
Creating a space that will grow with them is a benefit to you and them. It will save you a lot of money over time and it will remain familiar to them. The architectural detail in this room is something that can stay and continue to grow with the child.
The same with this wall. It adds so much detail to the room but the wall color and accessories can be changed and updated easily.
Creating a special space for your child gets easier as they grow once they can give their input and share with you what they really like.
And trust me, they will share with you what they like. The trick comes in combining your designs with their ideas.
Designing kids rooms are fun and so much different than designing other rooms.
Did you get any ideas? Something you just have to do or add to one of your kids rooms? I love all the bright colors and architectural details added to the rooms. What’s your favorite thing?

Lots of great ideas. I’ve pinned one of the rooms as a possible teen room for my daughter in a few years. Loved the framed and painted wall with mirrors hung above the night stands. Thanks for the inspiration.
Lots of fantastic inspiration here, thank you!!!
A slide for the top bunk! That’s such a cool idea!
