Organize Your Cords

Are your cords all in a jumble? Do you have a hard time finding the one you need?

I have an inexpensive and colorful storage solution for you. I used the duct tape I had on hand and saved TP rolls, then I bought the tote for about $4 from Wal-Mart. That was my only cost.

The rolls are just about a 1/4 inch to long for 2 strips of the tape so I had to use 3 and cut off the excess. I left a 1/4 inch on each end so I could tuck it inside the tube.

Once they’re done, add the labeled cords and place them in the tote.

I keep the tote in the hall closet so we all have easy access to it.

That is so cute Leanne! I’ve seen the TP idea before but I love the pattered duct tape you added.

I’m wondering if it would be a good idea to label the tubes in some way so that you would more easily identify which cord you’re looking for

I think that would be great. Label away! I labeled all the cords but you could also use a label maker and stick a label on the outside of the tube. :)

This is a great idea! I’ve used t.p. rolls for years to hold my cords, but never thought to make them look attractive with duct tape! I have pinned your stuff before but have never really asked, do you mind if I pin your stuff? Because I’d love to pin this!

I’ve stored cords on the products that I use in TP rolls for years. Now I will decorate them and add the rolls to cords that I don’t use daily. What a great organized way to store them.

So glad to see you used the TP cores. I’ve thought of things to do with them in the past but figured I’d get “pounced” on by the “germaphobes” out there! Great idea!! Keep up the good work.
