I like to decorate a little different every year for Christmas. This year I decided on bright colors. I was going for a bright, cheery and simple look.
One of the things I’m really proud of is how little money I spend on seasonal decorating. I did make a little splurge this year, but it was only $8. I found this garland at one of my favorite antique shops in Cedar City. It’s real tinsel with little glass ball ornaments attached.
I gathered white and clear candlesticks from around the house then simply added the brightly colored ornaments on top.
Then I wove the garland around the candlesticks. I love the simplicity of it but also how bright and bold it is.
The last thing I did was add a little vinyl for a whimsical look. I’m going to have small ones in the house this Christmas so it was the perfect touch without having something hanging down.
I’ll have a tutorial for the wreath up by tomorrow. Merry Christmas!
