Laundry Basket on Wheels

Laundry Basket .1

When we were first married we had to go to the laundromat to wash and dry our clothes. Years later, I can’t say I miss that one little bit, except for the rolling laundry baskets. I loved the rolling baskets and have thought many times throughout the years to purchase one. I was recently asked to review an item from Create-ologie so of course I chose their Laundry Basket on Wheels. It was like a dream come true!

The only problem was that I wasn’t sure I just wanted to use it in the laundry room anymore. Being an organizer I had much grander plans for this awesome laundry basket although it does look pretty awesome with dirty clothes in it.

It would look great in a bathroom with guests towels in it.

Or on the deck or back patio holding pool towels. I mean, why not pretend you’re at an upscale hotel with pool towel service? Even though I’m sure you’ll be the one laundering them.

Or what about in the craft room holding beautiful fabric or crafting supplies?

But probably my favorite use I came up with so far is holding gift wrap supplies. Gift wrap supplies are so colorful and pretty so why not display them in something just as awesome.

I filled the inside of the basket with gift bags.

The rolls of gift wrap fit perfectly under the basket in the cross area of the legs.

I used shower curtain hooks on the side of the basket to hold smaller bags. You could also fill a bag with tissue paper and another bag with tape, ribbon and other gift wrap essentials to place inside the basket.

We just moved into a new house in a new state. I’m sure I’m going to think of many more uses for this laundry basket. Right now it’s in the laundry room but since I’m still unpacking, I’m not sure that it’s going to stay there.

Very handy and cute, but is it really $249?!

At my house that would be waaaay too small for laundry! But craft or sewing supplies…hmmm…cute!
