July is over so it’s time to change up the dining table center piece again. Let’s look around the house to see what I can come up with. I’m going to start with a square white plate as the base.
I found this cute little sand dollar on a beach in Florida. Since I want the center piece to have a beachy feel, this will work perfectly.
I looped some string through it so it will be able to hang from something in the display.
Then I looked through my paper stash for some fun Summer paper to place in a frame.
I bought this frame last year at Hobby Lobby. It was on clearance for $1.20. It would be super easy to duplicate this look. I think I’ll try making some for around my home.
It’s also the perfect place to hang the cute little sand dollar.
Next, I added a metal star in the perfect shade of blue/green.
And an insulator in a pretty blue also. I know an insulator isn’t very beachy, but it was the right color of blue and was the right height for the display.
Last but not least, I added lots of sea shells. Most of these shells came from Florida.
Here’s the completed center piece. I think I might add something else to the center of the frame. It still looks a little empty to me. But other than that I’m pleased.
It also meets Hubby’s requirement of the centerpiece not being too tall to see over. This little sand dollar is my favorite part.
Do you change up your centerpiece often?
I think the insulator looks like a little lighthouse. Very beachy.
Super cute! Love the sand dollar!
shame you don’t have just lil sand for in your plate….love that frame
This is just so cute! My dining table is always a mess so in answer to your question: no, I sadly do not change my centerpiece often. =( Right now, I’ve had the same PB Outlet candleabra on there for months!

I love the shell on the side, so cute!
VERY nicely done! Thanks for linking up to Topsy Turvy Tuesdays! I think the insulator fits well!
I like you centerpiece. I only change mine during the holidays. Right now, my dining room is a disaster because it is holding all the elements of a bedroom makeover until the room is painted. La
What a cute little change! I love using seashell I’ve collected.
Very cute and fresh for summer!
You have no idea how jealous I am that your seashells are ‘authentic’. I made a seashell wreath recently and had to buy my seashells from Hobby Lobby. Love the frame…I think I may attempt one!
What a beautiful frame and I love how you have it displayed. Thanks for sharing, ~~Sherry~~
