I bought the items a few weeks ago, but just now got around to making these cute trees. The styrofoam cones were 2/$1.50 and the necklaces were $1 a package. I had the candlestick holder in storage.
I cut the necklaces so they were one long strand.
Then started at the bottom and wrapped the strand of beads around the cone, securing it with hot glue along the way.
Here it is about half finished. I continued wrapping and gluing all the way to the top.
Once I was finished with the beads, I glued the candlestick holder to the bottom of the cone.
Here it is all finished. Next, I’ll show you the one in the background.
I started with these items. The other cone, the flower petals are $1 from Dollar Tree, and I already had the candlestick holder.
I started at the bottom securing the flower petals with hot glue. I overlapped them all the way around the bottom of the cone.
I worked my way up the cone overlapping and staggering the flower petals. Once at the top of the cone, I overlapped the last four to help it looked finished.
I found this glittery pom pom in my craft room and added it to the top of the cone. Then glued the candlestick holder to the bottom of the cone.
Here’s the flower petal tree.
Don’t they look so cute together?
This little corner of the kitchen is finally decorated for Christmas.
These are great, Leanne! They look like they were fairly quick to put together too. My favorite thing! : )
