Chalkboard Labels with Liquid Chalk Marker – I don’t know if I can ever get enough of chalkboard labels. My favorite place to use them is in the pantry and craft room. They are also great in kid’s rooms and playrooms. Use the chalk marker for crisp letters. It’s easy to start over by wiping clean with a damp cloth.
Glass Canisters – I like using glass or clear containers in the pantry and also on the kitchen counter. I started taking food out of their packaging and placing them in containers years ago. Everything stays fresh so much longer now and it looks great too. Plus I know exactly how much I have of something.
IKEA Fabric Storage Boxes – I use these fabric boxes in our dresser drawers and in my kid’s closets. I like how it keeps all my things divided and it makes it easy for the kids to put their clothes away where they go.
Over the Door Shoe Organizer – I pretty much use these for everything except shoes. It holds craft supplies in the craft room, action figures in the boy’s room, toiletries in the bathroom, spices and small food packages in the pantry, hats and gloves in the coat closet. You get the idea. I like the clear ones so I can see in each pocket but I also like to label the pockets so everyone knows where things go back.
Baskets – I like to use baskets on shelves or in cubbies to divide up the space and contain things. They can really be used in any room. Find ones you like and that fit your decor so they can be functional and decorative.
Organizer Tray – These are perfect for a junk drawer, because even if you have a junk drawer it shouldn’t have to look junkie. They work great in a desk drawer or also in a top drawer in an entry dresser to hold keys and things before you leave the house.
DVD Storage Binder – After years of having hundreds of DVD’s in a closet and entertainment center we finally put all of them in storage binders. We travel a lot and the kids like to watch movies in the car so this was a perfect solution for that too. Since we have so many movies we divided the binders into categories for each binder so we can find them easily.
Pouches – I love pouches for just about everything that’s smallish. I use them for in my purse to keep things separated and organized. They also work perfectly in diaper bags, for make-up, when traveling, kid’s small toys, snacks. The uses are limitless. Plus how cute are these?!
Car Organizer – I need to have things organized and easy to get to in the back of our car or van. I like this one because it has different compartments and I can keep the toys, grocery bags, and emergency supplies separated.
Label Maker – I’ve had this label maker for over 15 years and I still love it. I like to label things so my family knows where everything is suppose to go and I’m not the only one putting things back.
Are these products some of your favorites too? Have I introduced you to new ones you need to try or use in a new way?
Great list Leanne! We have a few of the same things, great minds think alike. 🙂
Anna
Great list! We both love the same label maker 🙂
Leanne, I love them all, especially the car organizer!
I too have the IKEA organizers!
I forgot to list those, sigh.
But we keep those in our dresser drawers 🙂
Love you, Chica!
I love those fabric storage boxes too. I travel with a shallow one folded up in my suitcase. It takes uo very little room and when I get to my destination it corrals all of my cosmetics & toiletries so I can leave them on the bathroom counter without them rolling all over the place.
