The pumpkin doilies were found at Dollar Tree and I had the bakers twine on hand.
These are so simple to make but would be really great party favors or Halloween treats.
Take 2 pumpkins and place them wrong sides together.
Cut enough twine to go around the pumpkin and to be able to tie it on the top.
It reminds me of those children’s sewing cards my kids used to have.
Fill with candy or little gifts. I used candy corn. Make sure not to over fill or it could rip.
Continue sewing it up and tie a bow at the top.
These would be so cute to make for my son’s class for Halloween or even during their Halloween party.
They would even work for Thanksgiving and you could write the names in the center for place cards.
Have you started working on Halloween, Fall or Thanksgiving crafts yet?

What a cute idea! And I love that you could fill them with just about anything.
Love these–and how lucky that they are already in this shape!
Wow! What a super idea. I will definitely need to hit up the Dollar Tree!
Adorable! I hope they still have some of these doilies at Dollar Tree.

How creative! My boys would get a kick out of these little packages.
This is a “sweet” idea…inexpensive…and would make a good favor or “thanksgiving” gift for delivery people, neighbors, guests…
Blessings,

Those are so awesome! I love them. What a great idea as place mats for thanksgiving and a great classroom craft, too! Thanks for sharing. Did you get the pumpkins this year?
