Peek Through Last Week (April 10-16)

If you’re new to Organize and Decorate Everything every Sunday I write a peek through last week about my family. It’s my way of showing my family members who live far away some of the things we’ve done throughout the week. If you’re not family you’re welcome to take a peek too. I’m not promising anything too exciting though.

Sunday– I flew home from the Creative Estates Conference today. I had such a great time. I still need to write about that. Anyway, my flight got in at 4:14. Hubby, Emilee, Zachary, and Ammon came to the airport to pick me up. It was so fun to have them all there waiting for me. I missed them a ton. We drove home, hurried to eat dinner, then Hubby and I turned around and went back to the airport. His flight left at about 8:00 for Phoenix. He had some things he had to get done for work, but would be home Tuesday night. It was a long day. I didn’t take a picture while we were on the plane,  so this picture is from last year when we went to Hawaii.

Monday– I’m suppose to be getting back to normal from my last few days at Creative Estates, but I’m not feeling well and hubby is out of town. Once I got the kids off to school I put a few things away then just relaxed. I did go through the cute business cards I got at Creative Estates though. I really do miss so many wonderful, supportive women I met there. I’m going to write a post about it soon, I’ve just been trying to get a few things out of the way first.

Tuesday– It’s “Unplug and Play” week at school. It’s only Tuesday and Zach’s already having a hard time not being on the computer or watching TV. I was fixing dinner and he was sitting at the table watching. At one time I looked over and he was sound asleep. He said he was bored when he woke up for dinner. We played a game after dinner and then he was fine. They actually did really well all week with not watching TV and spent a lot more time outside even though the weather wasn’t perfect.

Wednesday– Today was crazy hair day at the elementary school. This is how the boys wore their hair. Zach did his own. I went to the school today to help with Ammon’s class with Chinese writing. It was fun to see all the crazy hair styles.

Thursday– Is it wrong that I bought a bag of these and am hiding them from my family?

Friday– Emilee turned 13 today. She really wanted a Lagoon pass so we gave her money for that. She’s going with one of her friends on Saturday. She got cards and money from other family members and wants to save for a Ipod. When it’s not a birthday party year the kids get to pick where they want to go eat for dinner. She chose Chili’s. Ty, Whitney, and Maddux came up to eat with us too. We went back home and had cake and ice cream after.

Saturday– We had Scouts and a soccer game in the morning. Zach’s game was at noon and the weather was beautiful. After his game I took the boys to the park for a picnic and to take a little walk. They’ve done so well this week with no computer or TV. They were having a fun time looking at the birds and skipping rocks in the stream. We all got a little needed sun too.
