I took the boys to the library after we ran errands and before it was time for Emilee to come home from school. They got some 39 Clues books and I got some decorating and craft books. It was such a nice day.
I was headed to Discovery Gateway with the boys when Chris, Parker and Ella drove up. Emily was getting her hair done so they decided to come with us. Ella was a little tired and hungry at this point. She loved the mirror.
Parker had a lot of fun in this area. He loved the crane.
Ammon always like the store area.
Zach had fun making different patterns with the tubes for the balls to go through.
But their favorite is always the helicopter. We went to the food court to eat and then went back for about an hour. Then it was time to head home. Ella fell asleep before we left Salt Lake.
We made Spring blocks with the girls at Activity Days this week. Here’s a sample of their fun blocks. We still have enough blocks for another holiday so I think we’ll do some for Independence Day.
Thursday was such a beautiful day. I took the boys to the park. We had a picnic and then while they played I got some computer work in. It was so nice to be outside enjoying the weather. I also attended my caucus meeting that night. There were only 99 of us there. I wish we would have had a little better turn out.
Some of you have heard the bird story. We have birds nesting all over our house. The one that was bothering me the most was the one in the dryer vent. The birds have been back in there so we decided to try to get it out before they lay eggs. Doug had to take a board and reach 6-7 feet back to even get to it. When he pulled it out it was over a 1 and a half feet long. Gross! We headed off to Lowe’s and got a new vent cover. It’s louvered and has a grate over it. I’m pretty sure this one will keep the birds out. Once it gets warm again I’m going to paint it to match the house better.
I hope you all had a great week!
This is going to be a busy week for me but the kids go back to school so I should be able to get everything done.
We LOVE the children’s museum!!! It’s so awesome!
