I stopped off at Lowe’s to check out their mis-tints and didn’t find anything, but I did find these pretty blue tiles. There were only 5 of them so I snatched them up for .o6 cents each. It’s really weird going through the check out with only .30 cents worth of merchandise.
I cut out some vinyl, using my Cricut, to add to the tiles. I picked an all season theme so I could use them year round.
Once I had the placement right I peeled off the backing and secured them to the tiles.
Since I had 5, I added a little bird to one of the branches. I know 5 is an odd number, but in my home one is bound to get broke. Then I’ll have the usual 4.
I had these bumpers in my junk drawer.
So I applied them to the bottom of the tiles to prevent scratching any surface they might be used on.
I think they turned out pretty cute.
Don’t you?
loving it. great job! makes me wish for a cricut, but i fear i wouldn’t know what to do with it. this would be one to try!

Georgeous. There is no way I could have left Lowe’s with only 0.30 of stuff, but you spent yours well. These would be great hostess gifts.

So cute! I have a Silhouette machine (similar to the Cricut). I need to keep an eye out for pretty tiles now!
They look amazing! And I love the color of the tile! We have 5 in our family, so I don’t think 5 is an odd number to have at all!
Thanks for linking up to Show and Tell Saturday!
This is such a great idea! Love it!
Those are adorable, and you’re right, perfect for any season!
Those are so cute! I have some tiles just like that but white and was thinking of doing something similar as Christmas gifts – I love the idea of vinyl. Of course, once I add a Cricut to the mix the gift cost goes up a little bit….
Adorable! One more thing to add to my list of “things to look for” at Lowes and Home Depot!
Very cute! We need some new coasters in our house, so I think I’ll try this out.

I love these! I saw these tiles on clearance, but I had only ever used the stone-type tiles for coasters in the past…I’ll have to go back and see if they’re still there! Here from CSI!
LOVE these!!! So, so pretty!! Stopping by as this week’s CSI Judge. 🙂
This is such a great idea! And they turned out so pretty!
