I’ve been meaning to make these stamped clothespins for a while. I already had everything on hand so I took a few minutes today and finally got them done. Check that one off my ever growing list.

Those plastic clips don’t always work on all types of bags, but clothespins do and they’re cheaper. I used these stamps to spell out the words I needed.

I made 6 different clips to start with but might add more later, as needed.

I used 2 of them immediately.

And the others are hung from a shelf in the pantry until needed.

Do you have something you’ve been putting off that will only take a few minutes to finish? I’m glad I finally decided to just get it done. Now, let’s see what else I’ve been putting off.

Great ideas and I like the way you showed the exact type of stamp pad to get. We get our mail delivered via mail slot in our door but my neighbor uses a clothespin like this to clip to “Outgoing Mail” to be picked up by mailman. How can I decorate a clothespin to attach to the mail slot for outgoing mail? Any ideas?

I like these! I think it will help at our house because it seems like we always have 5 bags of something open at once. And then they go bad. Drives me crazy. I’m always saying don’t open something til the first one is gone. But if they only had a certain number of clips maybe that would be a good reminder and visual cue (esp. for my 30 year old hubby)

Where did you get your stamps?

alissa@33shadesofgreen November 19, 2010 at 6:41 pm

Cute idea and so easy! I use plain old clothespins but adding the stamps would definitely be much cuter!
