Who can pass up going to the State Fair? It just wouldn’t be the end of summer without going and seeing the produce and farm animals from all across the state and a few other things maybe you wouldn’t expect to see. Like sharks in a tank. Yes, that is duct tape at the top of the tank. We didn’t stay close to the tank for long once we noticed that.

This robot was nice and talked to Zach and Ammon for a while. He played music and danced for us too. Ammon thought he was pretty cool.
The kids got to be farmers for a while and learn what it takes to get the harvest to the store or markets. Milking a cow:

And of course the animals. The kids wanted us to buy a bunny for them, but being the mean parents that we are they got to ride the ponies instead. Here they’re being sad and begging for a bunny. We’re soooooo mean!

It is so funny to be looking at someone’s blog & realize that they live in the same state as you! We went to the fair on the last Saturday…it was so much fun! I’m lucky that my boys didn’t see the bunnies…we just bought hamsters.
