Tissue Paper Party DIY’s – Party Contributor

Who has a party or get-together coming up? With it being Summer there’s a good chance most of us have some kind of celebration or get-together happening in the next month or so. Anne is here again this month sharing some great decorating ideas using something as simple as tissue paper. Who says party decorations have to be expensive? Here’s Anne:

Happy Thursday everyone, Anne here from Circus Berry! Thanks for stopping by today to check out some more fabulous DIY party decor ideas. Last month I shared a round-up of Fun Photo Displays for Your Celebration. This month, I challenge you to pull out all of that tissue paper you may have stashed away with your wrapping stuff and try out some of these amazing Tissue Paper Party DIYs to sass-out your next soiree. That’s right. Tissue paper. That stuff is amazing, colorful, and let’s not forget–cheap!

Whatever type of gathering you are having, there is so much you can do with tissue paper. Let’s check out some fun ways to use it:

Create a beautiful, zig-zag, fringe backdrop for your Photo Booth or dessert table. (via A Beautiful Mess)

Tassels are everywhere right now. With this festive touch, you can buy or DIY. (via Life. Love. Larson.)

Add some ambiance to your backyard gathering with a string of white lights, embellished with tissue paper flowers. (via Grow Creative)

More fringe!!! Get the fiesta effect with a simple fringe banner. (via Martha Stewart)

Create a fun, ruffled tissue paper garland to drape just about anywhere. I am thinking layers and layers of this stuff would also make a pretty accent to a little girl’s room. (via Studio DIY)

Here is another buy or DIY…tissue paper fans. Whether you use them as a backdrop or hang from the ceiling, the possibilities are endless. They are like snowflakes…every one can be different! (via Domestic Fashionista)

Create a solid yet stunning backdrop with a single color, or lots of colors. This sort of reminds me of those rag rugs that are all of the rage. Super cool! (via Ruffled)

One of the easiest and possibly the most popular of tissue paper party crafts…the tissue paper flower. Use it on a garland, as a table topper, or to hang in bunches. Don’t be afraid to use these big blooms however you see fit! (via Sew Creative)

I personally am a sucker for geometrics, so being able to create some awesome geometric lanterns with tissue paper…it just calls to me! (via Oh Happy Day)

Go girly with a flowery monogram, number, or the whole word made with none other than tissue paper. Looks just like carnations! (via Catch My Party)

Make your own cupcake topper pompoms for a super fun, whimsical addition to the dessert table. (via 6 Bittersweets).

Make pennants in any color with a few supplies, and in a flash, to hang everywhere and anywhere you please. This is another one that would look great in a kids’ room, play room, or a craft room when you are done! (via 30 Minute Crafts)

Check out some of these blogs to see just how quick and easy making your own party decor can be, all with a bit of tissue paper. I know I personally have a stash ready to use for any event and can’t wait to try out some of these ideas myself!

Have a fabulous month! *Anne

Thank you for sharing all these fun ideas! And don’t forget to visit Anne at Circusberry, where she blogs regularly. Anne is also expecting a baby very soon and I want to wish her the best of luck and a quick labor, but not too quick.

Happy Celebrating!
