I’m sharing a fun and easy craft today. Sometimes I just need to make something cute using supplies I already have on hand and something that only takes a few minutes to make. I thought a Washi Tape Clipboard would be cute and perfect for back-to-school.
I have a large stash of washi tape that hasn’t had much action lately so I’m going to change that, starting with this little craft project.
My clipboard has screws holding the clip on so the first step was to take it off. If your clipboard doesn’t have screws you can pretty easily tape around it.
I decided on some colors and patterns of washi tape I wanted to use then got busy wrapping the clipboard.
I wrapped the tape all the way around, overlapping it a bit in the back. I used the point of small pliers to make holes where the screws needed to go back in.
Put the screws back through, but be careful not to twist the clip while you’re tightening the screws.
Didn’t it turn out great? It would be perfect for a student, coach, teacher, or a home office. I can’t decide if I’m keeping it or giving it away.
Maybe I’ll at least keep it until after I decorate my mantel for back-to-school. I should get working on that. Do you decorate for back-to-school?
