I found some awesome things a few weeks ago that I haven’t shared with you yet.
This Readers Digest book was only $2.  I love the colors on the cover and it’s so summer-y.
I had to buy these silver spoons and little fork. They were only $1 each.
I want to make those stamped plant markers I’ve been seeing everywhere.

And I finally found a scale. I’ve been looking for one for years.
But I didn’t want to spend a fortune. I ended up spending $16 on this one.
I’m not sure if that was too much, but I’m happy with it. And it works.

But the best 2 things I just got yesterday from my awesome niece.
She gave me these perfect windows. I know exactly where I’m going to put them.
But you’ll have to wait and see. Hopefully I’ll be able to show you later this week.

Have you found any great treasures lately?

Can’t wait to see what you do with the window frames. We came home from a trip to Missouri with a trunk full of old windows (with and without glass) just like that – old and white. Have a few ideas of what to do with them…could use some more inspiration!

Ok that scale is AWESOME! And I really don’t think 16 bucks is a lot for it. I have seen them at flea markets here and they are somewhere around 40 dollars.

Oh and give your niece a HUGE kiss for those windows. I have been hunting those exact type of windows down and they are really expensive now at yard sales/flea markets bc there is a big demand for them.

Great finds!

I’m glad I was able to finally get those windows to you, and I’m glad you like them! I’m sure they’ll look great; much better than they did in the back of my closet for years. :P

Love that scale! I’ll bet you’ll both decorate with it and use it.

Great silverware finds. I made some plant markers a few weeks ago out of forks and then put postcards in the prongs. Have fun!

Your scale is wonderful and I think quite a bargain. I love the contrasting color and I’m sure you will use it as well as keep it out for decoration.
My hunt for a good scale continues. Next weekend I am headed to a farm or barn sale, but it is a fancy one. I’m sure the scales I see there will not be bargain priced.

Ack! I love that scale, it would be perfect in my kitchen. Great find! Nice silverware too.
