Peek Through Last Week (November 28-December 4)

Sunday- Every other Sunday we have all the kids (the ones who can make it) over for Sunday dinner. After dinner we watch a movie, play games or just sit around and talk. Whitney put a cape on Maddux and flew him around the room. It was so cute and he was having so much fun.

Monday- The kids love playing games. Hubby doesn’t always like the game the kids pick to play. We had a lot of fun playing this one though. Really, who can’t have fun when they’re making animal sounds?

Tuesday- It’s always fun getting the Christmas decorations out of storage every year. I never remember all the fun things we have. The kids love this magnetic Santa and guessing about the naughty and nice list. Ty’s parents gave it to the kids for Christmas one year.

Wednesday- My friend Stacie and I are over Activity Days for the 8-9 year old girls. They’re such a fun group of 8 girls. We made bath salts and foot scrubs for Christmas gifts for their moms this week. I’ll have the recipe coming soon.

Thursday- Ammon loves taking pictures. I haven’t showed any of his pictures for a while so here’s one of his latest. He made a bed for some of his favorite animals and then took a picture of them snuggled in.

Friday- We finally got a bit of our Christmas shopping done. Since Hubby’s been out of work, we haven’t had much of a chance (money wise) to go shopping. We’ve been blessed with dear friends/neighbors looking after us. We were given some anonymous gift cards to do some Christmas shopping with. One of them was to my favorite store. Can you guess what store that is?

Saturday- Hubby put some lights on the outside of the house today. It’s not his favorite thing to do, but since he knows how much I love them he does it for me anyway. What a great guy!

Job Update- Hubby now has 2 part time jobs. He starts his second part time job tomorrow. Still no full time job or benefits, but things are looking up. He anxious to get back to programming and using his skills. I’ve loved having him home, but he needs a job and we’re grateful these opportunities are coming his way. It’s always a relief to be able to make the house payment.
