I’ve been talking about going to SNAP Conference since last year. Things got in the way and I was never able to buy a ticket. I tried to win a few times and that didn’t work out either. I thought I was going to miss out on going, then hubby surprised me for my birthday with a ticket. Isn’t he the best? I think so!

I got my drivers license renewed on Monday. Do they have a button on their camera that say ugly? Seriously, I have never taken a good drivers license or passport picture. I tried to take the eye test without my glasses and that was a fail so I have to wear my glasses when I drive. Then I spent the rest of the day running errands. One of my stops was taking things to the recycling bins at the kids school.

Young Women New Beginnings was Tuesday night. The theme was Carnival of Values. Emilee was in the skit about personal progress. The girls played some games, we had a photo booth picture taken with Emilee and ate carnival food afterwards. Cupcakes I couldn’t eat, but they look really yummy.

We made paper fortune cookies and cupids arrows for Activity Days. We teach the 10 & 11 year old girls. They’re so much fun and love learning new things.

I had lunch with one of my best friends this week. She’s amazingly talented. She made these beautiful felt hearts and phone case for me. I love them. They’re perfect! She also let me talk and just listened and gave me some great advice when I needed it.

Hubby went on a scout overnight camp with Zach. Ammon worked on putting his turkey together while they were gone. Then we watched 3 movies. Zach put his shark together after the scout camp. My boys love working on projects.

Hubby and I went to a movie and dinner to celebrate Valentine’s Day. We saw The Vow. I cried. We’ll celebrate with the kids on the actual day. How do you celebrate Valentine’s day?
