Last week I shared a post titled, 10 Things You Can Toss Right Now. How did you do? If you haven’t done it yet, try to do either before or after this post. You will get through it quickly and be amazed how it makes you feel to get rid of needless things. Today I’m sharing 10 More Things to Toss Right Now. It’s another list of things you can go through rather quickly to give you a good head start on decluttering your home. My hope is that by you getting through this list quickly you will have the motivation you need to continue through the rest of your house.

The best way to keep clutter out of your home is to never let it enter. That might be easier said than done but with practice it becomes easier. Obviously you can’t keep all clutter out so I am sharing my favorite Tips to Keep Clutter Away before it enters and once it’s in your home. It’s all pretty easy and just takes a little time to catch the bug and become a decluttering queen (or king). Don’t feel like you’re working alone on this, you are with most of the nation right now trying to rid the excess from their homes. I declutter year round but  I love the extra push I get in January knowing some of my blogging and real life friends are doing the same thing.

I think I have loved organizing my whole life. I remember looking through design books at the library when I was still in elementary school and designing my bedroom and closet from those books, but my favorite books were the ones that also included organizing ideas. I prefer to organize year round but if have yet to catch the organizing bug, the first of the year is the perfect time to be motivated. My friend Toni, from A Bowl Full of Lemons has written the perfect book to get you motivated once and for all and to get your whole home organized and functioning perfectly for your family. Get organized this year using The Complete Book of Home Organization to help you get there.

Make sure to read all the way down to the bottom of this post for a chance to win an autographed copy.

We’ve lived in this rental for 2 1/2 years and I am finally getting around to organizing the Linen Closet. It’s not that it was in bad shape but Organizing a Small Linen Closet can be a challenge. The closet is a little less than 23″ wide and 9′ tall and it needed to be able to hold all the guest and kid’s linens. If you need to get your linen closet organized I have some ideas to help you get it in shape.

As Sweet As Candy Cuties

by leanneja on December 27, 2015 · 1 comment

in Uncategorized

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Cuties for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

If you were to ask my kids what is the first thing I say to them after, “how was your day at school?” they would say “eat a healthy snack then start on your homework”. The emphasis is on “healthy” snack since it seems like it is a daily struggle to get them to eat healthy. When they’re at school or away from home I just have to hope they make healthy choices, but when they’re home it’s easy to provide healthy snacks. Cuties are my kid’s favorite and since they’re as Sweet as Candy it’s easy to get them to snack healthy.
