More Rosettes

Okay, I admit it! Sometimes it takes me a long time to try something, but once I do I tend to fall in love and become addicted. I could make these pretty rosettes all day long. Different colors, fabrics, sizes. I love them all. Check out the original ones I made here.

I added pins instead of clips to the back of these. I thought I would be able to use them in more ways with the pins.

I have quite a supply of fat quarter pieces. Even though I don’t sew much, I love to collect pretty material.

I used this pretty rose ribbon to embellish a tee and had a bit left over.

So I ran a basting stitch along one side then gathered the stitch to form a flower. This is the back side. I added a circle piece of felt with hot glue to the back before gluing the pin on.

I love the fluffy, frayed look. And since it’s white I can put it on almost anything.

Here’s some places I’m going to be pinning my rosettes. Adding a little color to my bags to match what I’m wearing.

Sprucing up my old sweaters for a new look.

Or adding a little feminine touch to a pillow. Of course, they can also be added to headbands or scarfs or anything else you can think of. Are you hooked on rosettes yet?

My daughter is so hooked on rosettes. She would love to put them on everything — she definitely needs to learn how to make them!

I’m going to Hobby Lobby to find some fabric tomorrow. I’ve been itching to try my hand at making some rosettes. Yours are so pretty!

These are beautiful…so pretty for spring! I really like your fabric choices. I can’t sew AT ALL so it’s fun to look at stuff and dream haha. ;)

I LOVE this. I really, really love this. I have a lot of fabric lying around too. I have been thinking about making these for a while and always just forget. Now I have a tutorial. Yea!

Leanne, they are so great. I love them on your pillow. I really love the white puffy one. I need that on a baby headband. Don’t be surprised if I copy this. So cute.

I’m so glad you decided to link up your rosettes today. I’ve been seeing them all over blogland, but now actually want to make some–I’ll be using your instructions, Leanne.
