Merry Christmas Vinyl

I’ve had a Cricut machine for almost a year (Hubby got it for me last year for Christmas). I love vinyl, but have been a little scared at trying to make my own. I have made a few vinyls like the “lost socks” in the laundry room and the “J” on the serving tray, but now it was time to expand and try more. Okay, really my daughter, Whitney, forced me because she wanted some for her front door. Thanks Whitney! It’s always good to try new things. Here’s what’s on the inside of my front door now:

So Cute! I love it, especially that cute little reindeer.

It’s actually so easy I’m going to have to restrain myself from putting vinyl on everything. I am planning on doing a few more things in vinyl for Christmas, but I need to find some white and red first. Roberts was having such a good sale, they were sold out of a lot of the colors I wanted. The cartridges were on sale too, so I was able to get 3 of them for $80. There’s one that has some birds and branches to choose from. I can’t wait to make those into vinyl. I need to put my machine away now before I start sticking vinyl to everything in my house.

I have a cricut too! Is it not the greatest invention ever?! I love it and I make things to sell so it is great and profitable!
Love what you’ve done on the door, can’t wait to see what else you do!

Love it! And just perfect timing for me. I bought a Cricut last week! (I posted about it on my blog this weekend.) I was pondering trying it out on some contact paper before using the Cricut vinyl. I am inspired.

I really like your Christmas Vinyl! The reindeer is so cute!
I saw something that might interest you. Remember how we were talking about saving the seeds from pumpkins you like to grow in the garden? Well I found this video and it reminded me of you because it was about organizing the seeds too. Here is the link…

Very cute…for vinyl – check out ohmycrafts.com – they have a bunch of colors – for temp decorations (on flat surfaces out of the weather) try contact paper – it works very well…

Thanks for hte post on vinyl
I’m wanting to get an expressions to do vinyl for sings.
I’ve cut stencils and done it that way for years, but wrist problems have made me slow down.
So, as soon as i get a machine, I can get going on some great sign ideas i have.

glad you reassured me that it is easy
