We can all use extra storage space, no matter how large or small of a space we live in.
Using furniture pieces that can also be used for storage is a perfect solution.

Let’s talk about ideas for the living room today.
Store extra blankets in a storage cube that can also double as an end table.

An ottoman can be used in the same way as a coffee table.
I use a tray on top of mine so there’s a flat surface for things and items can be moved easily.

Plus it has extra storage for items used in your space.
In our case it’s Wii paraphernalia.

I also added a storage cube for the smaller items and controls.

Baskets are always useful in holding items and keeping them out of sight.

Use pieces in unusual ways.
I’ve stored everything from CD’s to clothing in this chest depending on what room it was in.

Even small spaces can be used to store items.
A sofa table can hold stationary supplies or tea lights in my case.

A small drawer in an end table can hold coasters.

Look at the things you use in a certain area and find a way to store them close by.
When picking out a new piece of furniture think of how that piece can be used in multiple ways to beautify your space and maximize your storage.

Traditionally, we are used in keeping and storing things in our bedrooms and a separate storage room. However, with small and limited spaces that we have now people have devised ingenious ways to have storage even in living rooms. Furniture are already made with side drawers and detachable tops where we can keep toys or magazines, etc. Great!
