Well, mine’s not but some “on the ball” bloggers have started me thinking about Fall decorating. Thrifty Decor Chick and The Nester have already written posts about Fall decorating and The Inspired Room has a Fall Nesting Party coming up soon. To tell you the truth, this has been such a busy Summer, I still have my July decorations out. Yes, everything’s still red, white and blue. Hopefully that will change later this week.
Here’s a little Fall decor from last year.
My under $5 wreath on the front door.
Falling Leaves mobile by the back door. Idea from Centsational Girl.
October dining table centerpiece.
Little pumpkins in the window planters on the front porch.
November dining table centerpiece.
November mantel.

One of the displays on a table in living room.

The daisy pumpkin I copied from Room Remix.

Jars filled with nuts, acorns, pears and berries in the kitchen.

And here’s some ideas I want to try this year.
Hollow out a pumpkin then add some greenery, branches and little pumpkins hanging from the branches.
Mod Podge some Fall leaves onto a pumpkin. I can’t wait.
Fill a glass jar with dried corn and add a candle. I would line a bunch up on a mantel or down the center of the dining table.

Stencil a white pumpkin with a simple pattern in black. I love the pedestal plate it’s on too.

I wanted to do this last year, but never did. Maybe this year.

Candles wrapped with twine and outdoor finds.

Applique a leaf on a pillow.

I am definitely making this.

And maybe a new table runner.

What about you? Is your home starting to reflect the change of the seasons? I guess I better start by packing away the July decor. Maybe I’ll bring a little Fall into my home this weekend.

Can you believe we’re thinking about Fall already? Isn’t it still June? Every year I fill apothocary jars with faux leaves for September and candy corns with spooky looking sticks out of them in October. One year, when the pumpkins were little and still growing, I carved my sons name into the pumpkin and we watched his name grow with the pumpkin – such a great idea! (too bad it was before my blogging days!) I’m running out today to buy brand new, fresh smelling pencils to put in vases before the kids head off to school!
I love that idea of the mod podge leaves on the pumpkin!! Nice find! Love all your ideas really…but you already know that…
