Paint Emilee’s new mirror. Number 3 on my 10 Tasks in 10 Days Challenge. I bought the mirror at Tai Pan’s 75% off sale last week and knew it was going in Emilee’s room.
But the color had to be changed to fit in, so I papered and taped off the mirror area.
Then primed it.
Next I painted it a yellow I’m still not sure about. Umm, would you say that was bright? Emilee wasn’t sure about it either, until Amanda said she loved it. Apparently all it takes is a big sister saying she loves it.
It looked pretty good once it was in her room. It’s not going to stay on the dresser though. Her room is a work in progress.
Here’s the details on the mirror. Time will tell if it stays this yellow. I think it’s already starting to grow on me.
One down, nine to go.

I kind of like the yellow! Doesn’t it feel good to cross things OFF the list??
We did all of the furniture in Savannah’s room in Key Lime, Grape, Lavender, and Spa Blue, and she still loves all the bright fun colors. I think the yellow was a great funky touch.
This color is so big now!! I used it to paint some things out in my patio!! It is bright and cheery and I think it is perfect!!

I had to check this out for nothing else than you have an Emilee spelled the way my niece spells hers! I love your idea – I get so timid when it comes to bold colors. This works and as you reminded me – it is subject to change – just pick another color, right? Thanks for being courageous – nice job! Elaine
Be glad Brooklyn is not there, that is her favorite color she might try to snag it lol! I think it looks great.
