I already had everything for this centerpiece except the candy. I’m sure you do too.
The tablerunner was purchased from Target a few years ago at a Halloween clearance.
The pumpkins are from last Halloween. The candles and vases are used all over the house at different times.
Look around your home to see if you can make a centerpiece from items you already have on hand. I’m sure you have containers or jars that can be filled with items to be used as seasonal decorations.
Now let’s see how long it takes before I have to refill the containers.

Great ideas! I don’t know if I could keep candy corns around long enough, my kids would eat them up too quickly. But I still might try it – and it’s great that you could easily do this for any type of holiday – candy hearts would be great for Valentine’s day!
Love the idea! I am always amazed at people that can decorate with candy and not eat it themselves!!
Love this too! The candy is making me hungry… Do you sneak some every once in a while?
I really should do this, look around my house and get creative.
How pretty!! I just finished putting up our Halloween decorations yesterday.
I would so eat all the candy corn. I love the smaller budget you have adopted … I so love everything you do. Now I feel like I can catch up.
Thats adorable!
Love how simple and cute this looks!
Nope. No way the candy corn would last more than a day or two. I’m not sure which is worse – candy corn or jelly beans. This time of year, definitely candy corn. But I gotta hand it to you, it’s a darling centerpiece!
these are awesome. i have been imagining something like this recently but our kids can’t have so many of the holiday candies b/c of food allergies. i’m trying to think of ideas that will work because this is so cute!!!
This is such a great idea. I try to keep things simple with the kiddos running around, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised that when I use candy for decorating they pretty much leave it alone. We’ll see how long that lasts.
Super cute! I love that you used real candy corn! Great job!
