Ammon’s Globe

Do you remember when I found this candlestick holder at the D.I. for .50 cents?

This week I found a globe for $1. Yeah, it’s missing parts, but Ammon’s always wanted one and it fits in with the theme of his room perfectly. So for $1 I couldn’t go wrong.

First, I spray painted the candle holder brown, then I attached the globe and candle holder together with gorilla glue.

Here it is finished. It doesn’t move but Ammon loves it anyway.

And here it is in Ammon’s creative corner. Not bad for $1.50!

I like this idea even better than you’re store bought globe because now your son can hold the entire world in his hands! Super great idea – super great price!

I have a globe just like this that the kids pulled off the stand for some reason. I’ll have to do this to make it stop rolling around the floor of their room!

That is a great idea!

What a great idea. I love globes and anything that can inspire leaning in my children. As another Wasatch Frontite I love D.I. I’m adding your link to my blog so I can be sure to come back and see some of your other ideas because organizing is more of an aspiration than a strength.
