June Showers and Beautiful Flowers
It has now rained 13 out of the last 15 days in my neck of the woods. Last I heard on the weather channel, we are at 346% of our yearly total. I guess we don’t have to worry about a drought again this year. It’s been great for the flowers and vegetables, maybe a little too much water for the tomatoes though. The only problem is, my weeds are growing as tall as my flowers and I don’t want to go out in the rain to pull them. There was a little reprieve from the rain today, so I was able to get out and do a little work in the front yard. Tomorrow is field trip day with my 5th grader so I won’t be working in the yard, but it’s suppose to rain again anyway. I would love some typical June weather about right now. But for now, here are some pictures of my beautiful flowers:

And the vegetables:

And another harvest of strawberries. Yum!

It has been nice to not have to water and let nature take care of it for a while.
