Spell It Out In Frames

February 8th, 2010

One of my cute neighbors just had her 5th baby. By that time you pretty much have everything you need or just go out and buy it for yourself, if you don’t. Everyone likes their name spelled out and hung on the wall, right? Especially when it’s such a cute name with a beautiful meaning behind it.

I found these frames at Dollar Tree (shh…don’t tell anyone). They were already white, perfect for a little girls room.

I asked the colors of the baby’s room and then searched through my scrapbook paper stash to find these cute papers. I love pink and brown.

Have I mentioned how much I love my Cricut too? It makes cutting out letters like these so much faster and easier. What a beautiful name!

Cut the papers to the right size and then just assemble the pieces all together. The opening is 3 1/2 x 3 1/2. I cut the letters out at 2 1/2″.

The frames also came with the ribbon already attached. The bow is actually tied on separately so if she wants to tie a different color ribbon on for the bow, she can.

A unique personalized gift for only $4.00. By the way, she is such a cute baby, with tons of dark hair.

I love that you got them at the dollar store. They came out really pretty! If my sons didn’t have such long names, I would totally do these for their room. But I’m going to be a great Aunt this summer so I’m filing this project away for future reference!
