Valentine’s Day Cards
I don’t know about you, but most of my family lives far away. One of the ways I keep in touch with them is through cards. Plus I love to make cards. My friends and some of my family have told me that they reuse my cards. Apparently they cut off the front of the card and attach it to a new piece of card stock. I found this out when I wrote on the backside of the front of one of the cards. My friend liked the note, but was sad because she couldn’t reuse it. I never would have thought of that. I’m careful not to write on the backside anymore. Maybe I’ll be reusing some of the cards that are given to me now too.
I need to make a few more, but here’s some of the cards I’ve made for this year.

I’ve been trying not to buy any scrapbook paper or supplies for a few months. The heart above is chipboard covered with paper. I love the flower ribbon.

The “hugs to you” was cut out from the Cricut. I have tons of rick-rack in any color you can think of and I’ve had this paper for years.

This one’s actually for Hubby. If you’re Hubby, don’t read this! The scallop square is punched out. The heart and striped paper is on the inside of the card. I’m still smitten with him after 30 years. Awwww!

This one was in a free kit I received from a magazine. It would be really easy to copy and make it your own though. I think that’s what I’ll do before I give it away. I love striped and polka dots together. Maybe I have some in pink paper. That would be cute.
I still have about 6 more cards to make, so I better get busy. Thanks for stopping by.

There’s nothing better than receiving a beautiful homemade valentine. These are especially cute!
They’re all cute but the SMITTEN is my favorite.
That must be just the biggest compliment when they keep reusing your cards because they loved them and a good way to recycle.
Those are super cute!
