Do You Do Vinyl?
Do you like to use vinyl in your home? When is it too much? I like to use it seasonally and for holidays and since I have a Cricut it makes it so easy to cut out a few images whenever I have a vinyl whim. I try not to use it too much, but I admit it’s easy to get carried away. So, for Valentine’s Day I decided to add vinyl to some everyday items to get them in the holiday spirit.
The candles went from this:

To this:
And this:

The little front window by the stairs got this:

The old window in the living room went from this:

To this:

And the mirror above the mantel got this:
The great thing about it is, I can just peel them off after the holiday and start fresh again. And because I tend to decorate for every holiday that’s a huge savings from having to buy new accessories for every one of them. So, what do you think? Yes or No to vinyl?

hmmm… I’d go with charcoal to match my favorite coat.
So I discovered your site just last week and I’m hooked!
p.s. Just do vinyl to your heart’s desire! What’s the harm? (It’s SO cute BTW)
I would LOVE!! to vinyl. But, I don’t have a Cricut or anything similar. I think that I am going to save my pennies.
Sign me up! I love Lanae too! She is so awesome!
Would probably choose charcoal and raspberry if i won. Cute headbands.
I would get it for my 12 year old darling daughter and black and hot pink would be perfect for her.
also seeing all you can do with it, you are making me desire a Cricut! My husband will thank you, I am sure. LOL
I love all your vinyl, I wish I had that little ole machine! I love the headbands, I would pick black with raspberry!
I recently got a Cricut and am looking forward to doing more than just scrapbooking with it. You gave me some excellent ideas.
I’d choose raspberry and heather grey. So cute!
I love vinyl! Maybe one day I can talk the hubby in to getting me one
I’ve been buying some recently at the Dollar Tree – who would have either thought that!!
BTW, I would choose black and paprika (since she doesn’t have red). I could girl up my sports gear
That’s what I love about vinyl too. Put it on and take it off whenever the mood strikes you. Your Valentine’s touches turned out cute.
put me down for a chocolate headband and raspberry flower, very cute stuff!
Cranberry and cream for a 5 year old.I hope I win, I hope I win! I would love to have some vinyl in my boys new playroom. hint, hint!
Love the vinyl! As for the giveaway – I would have to say, I would go with light blue band and light green flower – my daugter (6 1/2 years old) loves aqua right now.
love the spruce and cream…really, i love them all!!
Raspberry headband with heather gray flower!
I would like taupe with a paprika flower if I won. Thanks!
I would love a Cream Headband with a Brown Flower to match my coat. I love that these won’t give you hat head but still keep your ears warm! We are in for a high of 17 on Thursday so I will need it!
I love the vinyl too. I am going to put some under my new mantel shelf with the kids new pics but I’m debating what is cheaper, buying it and cutting it or buying an already made one from hobby lobby. Michaels has it here too but I just cant find anything other than black, white and clear and its 10 bucks for the small sheet. Have to keep looking I guess. I like the V-Day decor, use it where you will, It only becomes too much when its on every surface!
I love the vinyl, and I have had to hold myself back, too…something about being able to cut it myself.
The headbands are fun, I love the chocolate with raspberry.
How about a chocolate headband with light blue flower–my fave color combo of late. Thanks for the chance!
Oooh, I think I’d like heather gray and lilac or cranberry, hard to decide…loving all of your valentine’s vinyl accents!
I love the black headband with turquoise flower!
These are absolutely wonderful! I like the burnt orange headband and hot pink for the flower.
Cute stuff! Love the dollar store treasures…and DI is THE best. so jealous I don’t have one!
If I won, I’d choose heather grey and black. so many beautiful colors to choose from, though…it’d be hard!

Okay, I finally found the correct place to leave my comment. Great stuff over at Forgotten Freckles. I would love a black headband with a cream flower if I’m chosen.
I have the Silhouette but I haven’t tried vinyl yet. You may have pushed me into it!
Love the window on the wall!!
I have the older Cricut model (the one that cuts 6×12 paper)…wonder if it will cut vinyl too. Great use of a scrapbooking tool for home decor.
