Give Thanks Banner

I know it’s not even Halloween yet, but I wanted to get started on making Thanksgiving decorations. This was so super easy. I just took brown double fold bias tape, these awesome letter cards I found in a craft store (I’m sorry, I don’t remember which one) and small clothespins.

Just slide the card in the fold of the tape and clip it in place with a clothespin. Because I used the clothespins to hold the cards in place, I can take it apart after Thanksgiving and use the cards for another project or another holiday banner.

Simple, inexpensive, versatile and quick (under 5 minutes). That’s my idea of a great decorating project. Great idea for a banner — fast, easy, inexpensive, and the letters can be moved around to create different words for another banner

This is soooo cool! I’ve never come across letter cards before. Love the vintage feel! Such a brilliant and quick project to implement too. Just my kind. I’m gonna look for cards now.

I am totally copying this idea! I bought those exact letter cards at a garage sale for $1 this past summer and they’ve been sitting on my craft shelf since then because I haven’t been able to think of what to do with them. Hooray for my creative aunt!
