Scrapbook Warehouse Sale and Other Finds
I love Scrapbook Warehouse sales. Not that I need more scrapbook supplies, but there are some amazing deals and I will eventually use everything. Here’s some of the deals I was able to get. A pound of paper (about 56 sheets) for $6.
Ribbon Cards- 4 for $1.
Magnetic Button Tins- $1 each.
Empty Magnetic Tins- 10 for $1. I wish I would have bought more of these. I had a great idea the next day.
Then I went to Michael’s and bought these 4 rolls of tape for $1 each and 1 roll of ribbon for $1.
I found a 40% off coupon for any Martha Stewart paper craft supplies at Michael’s in the Martha Stewart Living magazine. So I bought this sand dollar punch that I can use for Summer crafts. It ended up costing $7.
Apparently I was on a paper craft supply shopping spree, so I went to Tuesday morning and found these storage jars, with supplies, for $2.99.
This magnetic date stamp for $3.99 and these ribbons with metal labels for .69 cents.
Then I found this apple. The original price said $20. It was marked down to $9.99, then $7.99, then $3.99 and finally $1.99. I have a fun plan for this for Spring and then Summer, maybe Fall and Winter too.
That was pretty good for a couple hours of shopping. How about you. Did you find any good deals this weekend?

With Target having 75% off Christmas items, Hobby Lobby having 66% off, Wal-Mart having 50% off, Tai Pan Trading having 50% off, Big Lots having 50% off and Michaels having 50-70% off, I just couldn’t stay home. I had to take advantage of some awesome buys and get some items for next year (for myself and for gifts for others). If you think you might be getting one of these as a gift next year, please don’t memorize the price and remember it’s the thought that counts. Just because I got a good deal it doesn’t mean I love you any less. Here’s some of my great buys. I love a great buy!
Remember those 3 1/2′ trees I bought last week at Roberts for the kid’s rooms next year? I found ornaments to go on them (plus we’ll make some next year). $1.50 each box at Target. The kids already picked out the ones they want for their tree.
I had every intention of making one of these ornament trees this year when all the ornaments went on sale, but my daughter found this one at Target for $5. I couldn’t pass it up or make it any cheaper than that, so it was sold. The boys thought it made a great hat.

Look how big it is!

Other ornaments, all for $1 each box.
More ornaments from Wal-Mart and Tai Pan. The large box of balls for $1.50, the red and green balls for .75 cents each box and the silver ornaments for $1 and $2 each box.

I don’t know about you, but I have to replace strands of lights every year. These were only .62 cents a box. I love these Christmas cards at only $2.25 a box. You would probably think I would make my own Christmas cards, but I have too many to send out, so unless I start in August there’s no way I would get them all done. These were from Target.

Gift wrapping supplies from Wal-Mart and Target. I bought the red bags for .25 cents each, the other bags for .37 cents each and the wrapping paper for .75 cents a roll. I still have some red polka dot paper to use next year too.

Little white trees for .25 cents each from Wal-Mart and a cute little penguin ornament for $1 from Tai Pan.

Red and silver ornaments for $2.50 a box (they’re big) bought from Big Lots. I’ll maybe hang them from the chandelier next year. Glittery picks for .18 cents each from Michaels, little stockings for $1 each and way cute mirrored ornaments for $1 each from Tai Pan.

Oh, how I love ribbon! The top 4 from Big Lots for .50 cents each, the bottom 2 on the left from Michaels for $1.75 and $2.25 each and 6 on the right for .50 each from Wal-Mart.

Pretty red candle holders for $2 each from Wal-Mart, tall faux mercury glass candlestick from Target for $1.25 and small faux mercury glass ones from Big Lots for $1 each.

Silver and gold candleholders from Hobby Lobby for $1.25 each.

Two faux mercury glass candleholders for $2.50 and $2.75 and clear candleholders with rhinestones for $2.70 each. Both are from Hobby Lobby.

A grand total of $106.40 for 2 days of shopping. I got a lot of awesome decorations and gifts for next year. I’m already excited to decorate for Christmas next year now. How many more days? Just kidding! I haven’t even taken down this year’s yet. That usually happens on New Years Day. I guess I just don’t want to holidays to end .
Do you shop the after Christmas sales? When do you put away your Christmas decor?

This Christmas sign was only $12.50. It’s 6 ft. long and about 2 ft. high. I don’t think I could buy the wood to make it for less than that:

These trees cost $2.50 each and are 3 ft. tall. They’re going in the kid’s rooms next year. They’ll look a lot better once they’re fluffed:

Pillar candles for $1.00 and $1.25 each:

Four Peace signs (ha, that’s funny) for $2.25 each. They’re 16 inches long:

Two boxes of ornament name holders for $1.75 each. I can’t wait to use these next year:

An unfinished sled for $2.25 and it’s 30 inches long. Maybe I’ll paint it to go with my other sleds on the porch:

Two piney picks for .35 each:

Faux stick bundle for $1.25. Yes, I could have gathered them myself, but for only $1.25 I’d rather just buy them:

I love this vintage looking snowman. I don’t know if I’ll be able to give him away. He was only $1.80:

That’s it! I think I found some great buys and some decorations and gifts for next year. The total cost is $76.95. Not bad! I love 75% off sales.

What do you do when it’s been raining every weekend this month and the yard sales just aren’t happening? Okay, I heard on the weather channel that we are now at 386% in the rain area. Enough already! At least I haven’t had to water my lawn for 3 ½ weeks. Anyway, there haven’t been too many yard sales so far this spring, probably because of the weather. So, I headed off to Hobby Lobby to get some spray paint and look what I found.

Woo Hoo! I love signs like this. They make my heart beat faster and I can’t wait to see what I might find. Here are some fun things that hopped into my basket:

I love this pillow for Amanda’s room. It’s the perfect colors. Look at this cutest little plate with the bird. Amanda draws the most amazingly beautiful birds, so this is perfect.
Pillow-$3.60 Square plate-$1.20

I wanted two white wire baskets, but could only find one pink and one white, so I’ll just spray paint the pink one white. Both baskets were only $6.80. They will be great in Emilee’s room.
I have been hunting for the perfect rug to put by the back door. I found it for only $5.50.

I don’t know what I’m going to do with this frame yet, but it was such a good buy at only $4.60.

I have a great idea for this photo cube that was only $3.20, but you’re going to have to wait to find out what I do with it.

I don’t know where I’m going to put this wonderful chandelier graphic yet, but I couldn’t pass it up for only $3.10.
I’ve been missing the yard sales, but love Hobby Lobby, especially when there’s a great sale. Not too bad for $28.00. I think I’ve had my fix for a while.
