Sometimes you just need something quick and to the point. I found these simple black and white labels on the internet, printed them out on plain paper and then wrote instructions on them.

I used solid card stock to back them up and rounded the corners on both.

Then I stuck them together with double sided tape and punched a hole in the top.

And hung them from a basket for Zachary

and one for Emilee.

These baskets were being used in Adam’s room before he moved out, now they fit perfectly on the dryer holding Emilee and Zachary’s clothes until they put them away.

I didn’t like the way the “dryer sheet” label looked on the jar so I made something different. First I traced the outline of the lid on a solid piece of paper, cut it out and used double sided tape to stick it to the jar lid.

Then I wrote dryer sheets on the top and drew some swirlies around it.

Now it sits on the washer with my little stool (so I can reach the high shelves) and a little frame.

When there’s not time or money for elaborate labeling, just make it simple and to the point. Do you think my kids will get the message?
