Welcome to Day 22 of 31 Days of Getting Organized by Using What You Have.

I love some of the food packaging now and that it can be reused so easily. Here are some great ideas of reusing food containers to get organized.

I love that most of these ideas reuse containers that would normally be thrown out or recycled. Great ideas.

I’ve used empty Nestle Quik containers for some of my scrapbooking embellishments. The lids are now clear so they are easy to see inside without taking the cover off, however at one point, they were solid colors. I’m in the midst of replacing the solid lids with clear lids but in the meantime, in order to see what I have at a glance, I have a “sample” of the item attached to the lid with double stick tape to indicate it’s contents (i.e. a puzzle piece or a mini clothespin).

Hi! I reuse the plastic boxes that hold mixed salad greens for holding small clutches or shoes (that I don’t wear frequently) in my closet. They are clear and have a lid, so it is easy to see what is inside, and prevent every thing from getting dusty. Diana
