Peek Through Last Week (September 18-24)

Ammon had lots of visitors on Sunday. His baptism is coming up soon so he met with the Bishop, then the Primary president and Cub Scout Wolf leader came over to talk to him. They gave him white socks with a poem and his Faith in God book. He’s so excited for his baptism and to be in Scouts.

Beautiful ripe pears from our tree. They’re delicious!

Nerd day at the Junior High. Emilee was a little nervous about nobody else dressing up so she took some extra clothes to school. She had a lot of friends dress up so she stayed in her clothes all day.

We went to Discovery Gateway for some off track fun with the boys. The construction area was one of their favorite places.

And the helicopter. We ate lunch in the food court at McDonald’s too.

Ammon is now 8 years old. What did he get for his birthday? Lego’s of course. He had all 3 of his new kits built that night.

He picked Red Robin for his birthday dinner. They brought him this for dessert.

The RV has been moved and there was tons of garbage to be picked up off the rocks so hubby hired the boys to clean up the area.

We had a neighborhood party at the church bowery. I’ll share the salad I brought later. Ammon preferred the brownies.

Soccer games always take over our Saturday’s this time of year. Zach as goalie. Do you think the shirt could be any bigger on him?

I hope you had a fabulous weekend!

What a fun week! I love birthday’s (esp since I just had one) and 8 is a pretty big year! My 8 and 6 YO are also in love with legos! It’s what we seem to get/give for everything these days! And the Red Robin Mud Pie??? LOVE! Although I SWEAR it used to have more peanut butter in it…. I think they changed it over the last 10 years.
