Peek Through Last Week (May 15-21)

Sunday– Church is 9am-12 noon. A little early for me. My perfect time would be 10am-1pm. We had a parents meeting for Girls Camp. It wasn’t too long which I appreciate. Mostly just letting us know about the dates and activities and signing permission slips. Hubby and I went for a walk before dinner. It was nice to spend time with him without the kids. It got extremely windy and started raining once we got home. I’m glad it waited till we got home.

Monday– I have an issue with being promised something and then not getting it. It really isn’t a big deal but don’t say you’ll do something if you’re not going too. It’s not life changing or anything. I’m just disappointed.

Tuesday– Today was suppose to be Ammon’s first baseball game this season. It was rained out. This is his first year playing machine pitch. This should be interesting to watch if it ever stops raining.

Wednesday– More rain and cold. I think this time of year I should be wearing sandals and flip flops everyday not winter shoes. The boys walked to the theatres with their classes during school today. They met their reading fundraiser goal so a movie was their reward. They watched “How to Train Your Dragon” and had a kids popcorn, soda, and fruit snack. They had a fun time.

Thursday– I attended Sassy Scoops Girls Night Out hosted with Tom & Lucy’s Art Shoppe at the Ivory Ridge Swim & Tennis Club in Lehi. There were some great vendors there. I was so impressed with all the wonderful products. I had the most fun meeting up with old blogging friends again and meeting some new ones for the first time. I had a wonderful dinner with some amazing blogging friends. Thanks for such a fun time.

Friday– I took Adam to Salt Lake to get his wisdom teeth pulled out. What a funny experience. I wish I would have recorded him after the surgery. It was hilarious! The ride home was pretty funny too. It’s still raining so all the ball games were rained out this week. I hope they get to play next week.

Saturday– Ammon and Zach had their last soccer games today. Zach’s team won and Ammon’s lost. That’s pretty much how the whole season went. I was able to meet some more bloggers today and hopefully made some great new friends. It was so fun chatting with them and getting to know them better. Melissa served some amazing cookies, homemade strawberry ice cream, and fruit and nutella. Hubby and I went to dinner at a Mongolian BBQ then went home and just hung out and watched some TV.

Those flowery shoes are the cutest! I’ve been obsessed with photographing my feet lately. Maybe it’s the $250 I just spent on shoes! Ugh.
