Peek Through Last Week (June 5-11)

Sunday– The boys have been practicing their math facts and state capitols a lot lately. My boys are still in school so these Wrap-Ups have been helping them study for their end of year testing. Have I told you how much I dislike year round school?

Monday– Emilee’s been wanting her haircut. Today was finally the day. We have a neighbor who cuts hair so we scheduled an appointment with her. Emilee is so happy with her hair. It’s a great cut for Summer. We also had another make-up baseball game. The weather was beautiful all day until the time of the game. That has been our game luck this season.

Tuesday– We’ve spent most of the day packing for Girls Camp and making sure we had everything the girls needed. There was only one trip to the store for a few items. I wish I was going again this year. I love Girls Camp. I know Emilee and Amanda are going to have a fantastic time.

Wednesday– The girls left for camp this morning then I went to the school to watch Zach’s puppet show. The 5th graders put on a puppet show every year. They spend time making the puppets then practicing the show during school. They did a great job and looked like they had a lot of fun. It was also mine and hubby’s 31st wedding anniversary. Whitney came up for a few hours to watch the boys so we could go out to dinner. She also took Zach to his baseball game and yes, it was cold and windy again (but at least not raining).

Thursday– Bunco Night! I love Bunco because it means a night out with friends, yummy food, and fun conversation. I love the game too, but I never win (until tonight). Yay! I won! I’ve been playing for 3 1/2 years and this was my first win. Everyone is glad I finally won so they don’t have to hear about me not winning anymore (I can be a little verbal sometimes).

Friday– The girls came back from Girls Camp and Zach had his 11 year old overnight camp. Hubby ate dinner and camped overnight with him. Emilee, Amanda, Ammon and I had a late night watching movies and eating popcorn. Ammon is so cute. He brings me things from his walk home from school. Today it was sticks.

Saturday– As part of our anniversary celebration hubby and I went to the Utah Valley Parade of Homes. It falls around our anniversary every year and since we both enjoy going, it’s become a tradition. I have more on the Parade of Homes later. I also hit a few yard sales in the morning before we left. I’ll show you what I bought later. It was a fun day for both of us being able to spend some time alone.
