More of the St. George Parade of Homes (Bedrooms)

I might have to do a few more posts about the Parade of Homes, unless you want it to take an hour just to read this one post. There’s so many things I love about the homes, but my favorite is probably the decorating. Let’s take a look at some of the bedrooms. Okay, a lot of them are mostly the bed. I love bedding!

These colors are just beautiful. So relaxing and calming. What a great space for a girl to spend her time. I love the lamp too.

I had to hurry to snap a picture of this room. There was a long line behind me. That was probably the only bad thing about the parade, there were so many people viewing the homes. The colors in this room just make me happy. Look at the cute ruffle pillow on the bed. I’ll have to remember that. And what about that mirror and netting?  I think my Emilee would love that.

I could just take this whole bed. It’s me! The black bed, black and white bedding and the accent of red. My accent’s green right now, but I could go back to red really easily. I really love this whole look.

I like rooms that are real. I could just picture 2 little boys playing in here. Those signs over the bed’s are great. On the opposite wall there was a large canvas of the U.S. in license plates. So perfect and not over done.

This is the sitting area in the Master bedroom. It feels so cozy. I wanted to just snatch that mirror right off the wall.

Here’s the sleeping area. Black, brown and cream look amazing together. Those lamps are so what I want. We’ll have to see what I can do with the thrift store lamps I found.

Here’s a closer look at the wallpaper. That is stunning!

Oh, the perfect boys room. They did go a little overboard with the theme, but look at that amazing headboard. The wall behind the headboard is pretty amazing too. And again, I love the bedding.

Here’s what’s on the wall across from the bed and my daughter and son-in-law posing under it. There’s a “Jack and Jill” bathroom in the background.

Both of these girls wanted this room. The canopy bed, the draped fabric, the chandelier, and the bedding. What girl wouldn’t want this room?

This bedroom was bigger than the whole first floor of my house. A little much for me, but look at the special alcove that was made  just for the bed. And a whole king size bed full of pillows that I just want to cozy into. This house is 12,000 square feet.

This room was so crowded I couldn’t even take a picture of the whole bed, but I do love this pillow and could probably figure out how to make one similar to it.

If I had 2 girls sharing a room I would want it to look like this. The pictures got mixed up, but this is the room on the other side of the boy’s basketball room.

Remember eariler when I said I really wanted that black and white bed. Well, apparently I need 2 beds because I would love to have this one too. Headboard, bedding, and all those pillows, so dreamy.

That’s it for the bedrooms/bedding. What’s your style for your bedroom. Do you like vibrant colors and a lot going on? Or dreamy colors and textures that remind you this is a place to sleep? I think it depends on what else you plan on using your room for. Ideally, it should only be used for sleeping, but some of us also use it for an exercise room, craft room, study and TV room. So, you decide and no one says you can’t change your mind next year.

I love the black, brown, and cream one and the last one. We can’t have footboard because of Mike’s height. His feet would hit them. Oh, well. I think I’ll keep him anyway. 🙂
