Flower Magnets

I’m working on Amanda’s room slowly and as things pop into my head. I noticed her dry erase/magnetic calendar on the back of her door yesterday and decided it needed some color added to it. Her new colors are yellow, brown and white, so these are the flower pieces and brads I had to choose from.

Not too many to choose from, but enough to be able to come up with some cute combinations.

I used E6000 to adhere the magnet to the back of the flower.

Then waited for them to dry a few hours. I think you’re suppose to wait 24 hours.

Here’s her calendar before.

And here it is now.

She can put things on it like her library notice, party invites, notes, quotes, etc.

Apparently going back to school is not a happy thought for her.

I totally love these. They’ll make great holiday gifts for a few of my younger cousins this year along in their box… they’ll be nice and light in the mail. 😉 Found you over at Between Naps on the Porch. Have a lovely week.

These are so cute. I made some a couple of years ago and I was just thinking today, that I need to make some more. These will be really cute in your daughters room.

Those are fantastic! I saw some cute flowers at Michaels today that I REALLY wanted to buy, but didn’t know what I’d do with them… guess I better go back tomorrow and pick them up. 😉 Thanks for sharing!
